A NEW COUCH...OFF LIMITS!
What in the world could my humans be thinking? How dare they! They had a new couch for our new house delivered and they won't let us on it!!! I mean we own everything in this house. So the other night we all hung out on it and I thought mom was gonna blow when she found the fur on it (3 different places). It was worth it. Talk about comfy. It has pillows all over it and the material is so soft. Dad almost gave in, but mom is serious. No cats on the couch! The 3 of us are trying to find a way to get on it without leaving clues... Hmmm where can a cat get a good shave?

Trust me, in the long run you will win. She can't guard the couch furever.
You know, humans are very hard to train. Just be persistent and you'll get the desired results.
My mom bought us a new couch. She'd be smart to forbid us access, but come on...she can't police it 24 hours per day!

As Derby said, you'll win in the long run. Bonnie says our chair an couch were new long ago, an she was loud on them right away.
Come on...let's face it, she's wasting her time trying to keep a comfy couch cat-free! She's got to go out some times, right, and then you'll be right on there! We've got throws on our sofa and chairs to try to reduce the Eric-hair on them a little bit.
I see no issue with keeping you off of the couch.
They must sleep sometime. DON'T mention shaving to me-it's being threatened at our house.
